FIRELIGHT ADVENTURES

Taos, New Mexico

April 10-13, 2026

Why Taos?

Historically, Taos is where people go when they're in between. Not to become someone else, but rather, something else.

Before it was an art town, Taos was a place of ceremony and story. Artists and writers like Ansel Adams, D.H. Lawrence, and Georgia O’Keeffe knew it, and worked their magic in the high-desert light. But the pull goes back even  further than that.

Nearby Taos Pueblo is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with long history of Indigenous community and resistance. It's the oldest continually inhabited community in the United States.

The altitude, the light, the weather, the vastness — Taos won’t let you stay distracted for long. The high desert rewires you.  The big sky makes your personal story feel smaller, not in a diminishing way,  in a clarifying one.

This Firelight Adventure is for women who want to get still, and listen — to the land, to themselves, and to each other. It's for women who want to unwind under a big sky, with interesting people and things nearby.

Where we'll be.

For four days and three nights, we’ll live just outside town in a sprawling adobe hacienda called, in English, The Place of Miracles.

There are fireplaces inside and out.
Courtyards.
Long tables.
A hot tub under a sky full of stars.

This is not a hotel experience. It’s a private house made for quiet mornings, unhurried conversation, and being together with thoughtfully curated exploration - internal and external.

Maybe even miracles.

What we'll do.

More than the place, the people are the point. This event centers kindness and belonging in a location that happens to be exotic and cool. As such, our days will be shaped by the rhythm of friendship and exploration - internal and external.

  • A healthy slumber-party vibe with friends, new and old.

  • Time on land with deep Indigenous history and  continuity.

  • Hikes, rest, hot tub, and conversation under the stars.

  • Delicious meals and hot chocolate by the fire.

We will not rush. We will not perform.
We will not try to “get something out of” the experience.

Instead, we’ll let place, time, and good company do the work.

This is Firelight Friendship Camp

Our trips are built around a simple premise: friendship happens when women spend unarmored, unplugged time together.

That's why we do mornings over coffee in the living room.
It's why light candles and eat meals over deep conversation.
It's why we hike and explore jaw-dropping places that refresh and inspire.

There are no icebreakers. No forced vulnerability. No pressure to share more than what's true, just an invitation to have some fun and get down to the way things are — always with a spirit of kindness and adventure.

Women leave these trips with friendships that continue long after the journey ends.

We design it that way.

I'm Erin - Your Host

For nearly a decade, I’ve worked with women in midlife, walking with them as they cross that threshold.

I’ve hosted fourteen women’s retreats, created five group programs and coached hundreds of women.  I’ve lived this crossing myself, written a book about it, and traveled to 55 countries to boot.

My role here is simple: I curate the journey. I tend the fire. I make space for what wants to happen. And I laugh a lot.

Who this is for

This Firelight Adventure is for you if:

  • Feel ready for something new, even if you can’t name it yet

  • Want to slow down and listen instead of pushing through

  • Are craving real friendship and connection, not another program

  • Want to remember what life is like under a big, dark sky full of stars.

Who this is not for

This trip may not be a fit if you:

  • Are looking for therapy for mental health issues.

  • Want a high-intensity retreat or workshop

  • Prefer luxury tourism over shared living

  • Are not open to being offline for the weekend
