FRIEND CAMP PAGOSA
Pagosa Springs, CO
August 7-10, 2026
Why Pagosa Springs?
In short? It's our old stomping grounds and one of the most breathtaking valleys in the whole state.
Surrounded by National Forest on three sides, and sitting at 8500 feet, flanked by 12,000 foot peaks, this Friend Camp is built for awe.
The setting is an historic cattle ranch that was purchased and converted a few years ago. The new owner did such a great job, her renovation was featured on HGTV.
Once you arrive, we take care of everything.
Your only job is to relax, make some new friends and soak in a spectacular Rocky Mountain summer.
Glamping Girls
For four days and three nights, we’ll live in a high valley outside Pagosa Springs.
Have you ever wondered if glamping is for you? This is your chance.
Each tent, tucked in the Aspens, has four beds, for you and your Friend Camp roommates. There's a darling outdoor shower, but two indoor ones too. We're not roughing it too hard.
Most of the time, we'll be hiking along the river, meeting on the cozy couches in the old hay barn, or around the fire under the stars.
What we'll do.
Friend Camp centers human connection and joyfulness in the natural world. As such, our days will be shaped by the rhythm of friendship and exploration - internal and external.
-
A healthy slumber-party vibe with friends, new and old.
-
Time on the land, listening to the rivers and trees.
-
Hikes, campfires and conversation under the stars.
-
Delicious slow meals prepared on site with love.
We will also dive deep into who we are now and what we want next. Excavating some new ideas about friendship and purpose.
This is Firegirl Friend Camp
Our trips are built around a simple premise: friendship happens when women spend unarmored, unplugged time together in a foreign place.
That's why we do mornings over coffee while gazing at the mountains.
It's why light candles and eat meals over deep conversation.
It's why we hike and explore jaw-dropping places that refresh and inspire.
There are no icebreakers. No forced vulnerability. No pressure to share more than what's true, just an invitation to have some fun and get down to the way things are — always with a spirit of kindness and adventure.
Women leave these trips with friendships that continue long after the journey ends.
We design it that way.
I'm Erin - Your Host
For nearly a decade, I’ve worked with women in midlife, walking with them as they cross that threshold.
I’ve hosted fourteen women’s retreats, created five group programs and coached hundreds of women. I’ve lived this crossing myself, written a book about it, and traveled to 55 countries to boot.
My role here is simple: I curate the journey. I tend the fire. I make space for what wants to happen. And I laugh a lot.
And it if helps entice you, Wally will be there too.
